Swim Central Water Safety Lesson #1
Bulldogs Learn from Day #1- We Never Swim Alone
All Kindergartners have the privilege of attending the Swim Central Water Safety Education class for 10 days. Students learn various techniques and memory aids to help them be safe while in and around water.
"Enough children drown each year in Florida to fill three to four preschool classrooms. In 2012, 440 Florida residents drowned. There were an additional 343 hospitalizations for non-fatal drownings." ~ FL Health.Gov
Our students will NOT be statistics. At BridgePrep, our goal is to educate all students (across age groups) on water safety, teach life-savings skills and help students begin to develop a healthy relationship with the water.
